I grew up in a small rural town called Durham, CT, with a loving mother and father who both had careers in education. I have two older sisters who I'm very lucky to call my best friends.

After high school, I moved down to Austin, TX to attend The University of Texas. Hello tacos!

After graduating from the University of Texas, I moved back to New England to get my Masters Degree.

After grad school, I took a delicious bite out of the big apple and accepted a job in New York City. I lived in Brooklyn as well as on the Upper West Side and it was amazing.

My husband and I moved back to Connecticut to start a family. We had two beautiful daughters who continue to keep us on our toes.

In 2014, we decided to pack up our little family and move back to Austin. We added a couple of new kids along the way – our two, larger-than-life Sheepadoodles, Barnaby and Eloise.
